We call the pharmacies listed in our Pharmacy Directory our "network pharmacies"
because we have made arrangements with them to provide prescription drugs to Plan
members. Central Health Medicare Plan has over 1800 pharmacies in our network, and
our network meets or exceeds Medicare requirements for access. A network pharmacy
is a pharmacy where beneficiaries obtain prescription drug benefits provided by
CHMP. In most cases, your prescriptions are covered under CHMP only if they are
filled at a network pharmacy or through our mail order pharmacy service. Once you
go to one, you are not required to continue going to the same pharmacy to fill your
prescription, you can go to any of our network pharmacies. We will fill prescriptions
at non-network pharmacies under certain circumstances as described later.
Can the list of network pharmacies change?
Yes, CHMP may add or remove pharmacies from our Pharmacy Directory. To
get current information about CHMP network pharmacies in your area, please review
the Pharmacy Directory or call our Customer Service Department.
How do I find CHMP network pharmacy in my area?
Pharmacies are organized by type, city, and name in the Pharmacy Directory.
First, locate the type of pharmacy you are seeking under the appropriate chapter.
Within the selected chapter, locate the city in which you live or the city nearest
to where you live. Pharmacies are listed by name in alphabetical order. The names
of all network pharmacies are listed again in alphabetical order under the index.
